Stephen Dillane (Stannis Baratheon)

Stephen Dillane (Stephen John Dillane) este născut pe data de 27 martie 1957 in Londra, Anglia. Este un actor cunoscut pentru rolul Leonard Woolf în filmul The Hours din 2002, pentru rolul Stannis Baratheon din serialul HBO,  Urzeala Tronurilor - Game of Thrones, și pentru rolul politicianului american Thomas Jefferson în miniseria John Adams produsă de HBO in 2008. Acest rol i-a adus o nominalizare la Primetime Emmy.

Un actor de scenă experimentat care a fost numit "actorul actorilor", Stephen Dillane a câștigat un premiu Tony pentru rolul său în piesa The Real Thing (2000) a lui Tom Stoppard și a interpretat roluri primite bine de critici in piese precum: Angels in America (1993), Hamlet (1994) și Macbeth (2005). Activitatea sa de televiziune i-a adus, de asemenea, premiile BAFTA și International Emmy  Awards pentru cel mai bun actor.

El s-a alăturat serialului "Urzeala Tronurilor" în 2011, întruchipând personajul Stannis Baratheon, un concurent important pentru tronul regatului fictiv din Westeros.
